Alejandra Gonzalez : Orange Coast College
When asked what she would want others to know about the Nicholas Academic Center, Alejandra says proudly: “Join! It was the best decision I made in high school.” Alejandra made good use of her time at the Center by getting assistance in math, which eventually led her to feel more confident about test taking in that subject. She also speaks highly of her mother, who raised three girls to be strong, independent young women. Alejandra wants to be an elementary school teacher.
