Carlos Rivera : Hamline College
As the first in his family to attend college, Carlos hopes to set an example for his younger siblings. He is now on his way to Hamline College where he will be majoring in pre-law. Carlos credits the Nicholas Academic Center with keeping him focused on attending a four-year university. He also wants to thank his beautiful mother for her unconditional love and the support she provides to him and his family. Carlos remained committed and focused so as to not allow outside influences to distract him from obtaining his goals.
