Diana Roman : Grinnell College
Coming from a high school that boasts a Hispanic student population of close to 90 percent, Diana experienced a healthy dose of culture shock when visiting her college of choice in Grinnell, Iowa. Always eager to face a new challenge, that encounter made her determined to help others appreciate the beauty of diverse cultures and backgrounds. Diana is certainly one of the best students to represent the Nicholas Academic Center abroad. She is a tremendous student athlete ranked among the top five percentile of students in her graduating class. Diana says her mom is her role model because she never gives up and always tries her best.
