Emely Barbosa : University of California, Irvine
Emely is thrilled about studying Chemistry at UC Irvine. As a first-generation student, she hopes to support her family and inspire more Latinx students to pursue higher education. While attending SAHS, Emely was widely involved in extracurricular activities and discovered a passion for dancing. Besides reading and cooking in her free time, she volunteers at CHOC. She thanks her family, her teachers and her dog.
