Eve Martinez

I would first like to thank my mother and father for supporting me on this journey I am on. I would have never been able to get this far if it hadn’t been for both of you, and I appreciate everything you have done for me so I can accomplish my dreams. I would also like to thank Dr. Nicholas, Rosa, Janae, Rocio, Susana, Alvaro, Chandra, and David for everything they have done. And I would like to thank the Judge for being like a second father to me and being as supportive as my parents. I’ve become very persistent throughout the time I’ve been in high school. And after all my hard work and effort, I was given the Ellen Browning Scripps Scholarship and the Knox Founders Scholarship to continue my education. Some advice I would like to give to next year’s seniors: You have the chance to steer yourself in any direction you choose, just follow your instincts.
