George is one of the most deserving and grateful students at the NAC. He has earned high academic grades while participating in activities like AVID and community service. He is the recipient of a $100,000+ scholarship award from the Heid Foundation and will be the first in his family to attend college -- a fact that gives him much pride and strength. George is thankful that Dr. Nicholas established a center that helped and supported many students like himself. He is especially thankful for his mother’s love and support, and hopes to continue to make her proud as he pursues his goal of becoming a medical doctor.
