Jose Gonzalez : Santa Ana College
Jose is the first in his family to graduate from high school and go on to college. Jose came to the Nicholas Academic Center for guidance and tutoring. He will be attending Santa Ana College in the fall and transferring into Cal State LA. His dream is to join the US Marine Corps after college. During his high school years he participated in NJROTC where he was able to volunteer many hours at different community events. He states that he enjoys coming to the NAC because of the family-like environment. Jose has received the Opportunity Scholarship, which will help fund his education at Santa Ana College.
