Kitty Nguyen : University of Houston
Kitty has found her life’s passion in writing and has set her heart on becoming a magazine editor so she can use her skills to help others. While coping with the circumstances of a difficult home life during her senior year, she found a welcome respite in the Nicholas Academic Center. “It feels so homey. You don’t even realize you finished all your homework,” she says. Kitty graduated in the top 10 percent of her class and credits the mentors at the NAC for helping her stay focused on her studies. She will attend the University of Houston in the fall, home of the Jack Valenti School of Communication.
