Marlyn Aguilar : University of California, Irvine
As valedictorian of Valley High School’s Class of 2010, Marlyn attributes her academic success to a strong work ethic, self-discipline and faith in God. An accomplished athlete and captain of her water polo team, Marlyn exudes the intelligence, poise and quiet self-confidence of a born leader. She epitomizes the concept of a well-rounded student-athlete who has mastered the delicate balance of academics, athletics, religious faith, community service, and family and friends. Marlyn will major in economics and public affairs with a minor in communications when she attends UC Irvine in the fall.
