Melissa Ruiz : University of California, Merced
Melissa will be studying biology at UC Merced where she hopes to acquire the necessary tools to create a positive impact in her community and in the world. While in high school, Melissa worked as a cashier and participated in soccer, track and field, and cross country. Melissa thanks her parents, siblings, coaches, and friends for their love and support.
