Odalis Espinoza : University of California, Los Angeles
Odalis is thrilled to be attending the University of California, Los Angeles in the fall term to study Political Science. Her career goals include becoming a policy maker in the government in hopes of giving back to her community. Odalis is the recipient of the $20,000 Dell Scholars Award and the $20,000 AVID Scholarship award. Odalis would like to thank her mentors, Cristina Flores, Mindy Velasco, Mrs. Martin, and the NAC’s Rosa and Martha for support, letters of recommendation, helping her overcome obstacles and always believing in her when she couldn’t.
