Oscar Garcia : Orange Coast College
Oscar is proud to be a part of the Nicholas Academic Center because he feels that the program provides the academic resources and social support network that many students need to in order to succeed. He looks to explore careers that will integrate his interest in writing poetry and love of the Arts. He enjoyed the fieldtrips that were part of the Center’s extra-curricular activities, in particular, the team-building exercises at Irvine Park. In addition to his involvement in the Center, Oscar was an active member of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) at Valley High School.
