Raul Martinez : Humboldt State University
After I graduate, I’m planning to attend Humboldt State University, where I’ll be starting my journey. I would like to major in psychology and become a family counselor. I’ve been in the Nicholas Academic Center program for two years. It’s been a great experience working with people who care about me. I’m an athlete who likes to face many challenges in life. I’m also a creative and talented person (well, that’s what my mom says). I wasn’t involved in any activities until my junior year, when I joined volleyball, water polo, and swimming. Joining sports has helped me meet awesome people that I’ll never forget. The people I would like to thank are my mom, Talent Search Coordinator, Blanca Sanchez, the NAC staff, and my friends, Alfonso Ortega and Marcos Soberanis.
